I have a done very few posts since I am with OpenSuse 11.1.
I have upgraded to Gnome 2.6 and use compiz-fusion from X11:XGL repo.
For a while (I don't know how long), I don't see the expo, applicaiton ring/cover switcher,etc...
Other plugins work with no problem.
As you can see, I have installed all packages necessary:
When i enable compiz as the window manager the cursor changes to a black one (Adwaita).
i tried to change it but now matter what i do it remains black with exception when the cursor is over some applications like firefox, then it looks like it should.
i already tried changing in dconf the cursor theme in gnome and mate for the one i want, also edited
Hi!Have been lurking around crunchbang forums a lot; good community support you have here.As I'm setting up my first compiz stand-alone, I've run into few problems.Main issue is - how is notification system enabled?I have installed libnotify-bin, but can't get it working.Btw, hhh, what emerald theme is that? I've been looking for a theme that draws borders only.
I am aware of that compiz is dropped from the repos, but I cannot find the packages in the AUR. The 0.9.x versions are made for Ubuntu as a compositor, so it is buggy as a standalone window manager.Anyone knows where the old pkgbuilds have gone (core, plugins, emerald)?
Differents from former fedora packages:
-- verion is stable 0.8.8
-- gtk-windows-decorator is droped
because all windows-manager which i can use as base for gwd (metacity, marco)
are ported to gesettings, in result gwd doesn't work correctly.
So, emerald is the default and only windows-decorator.
Hi I just found out to use alt+super+right click to add/remove items from gnome panel in 12.04 classic. However after tweaking compiz and emerald this no longer works I can mouse click all I want and no menu appears. I think the combination of emerald and compiz block it somehow.
Is there a way to disable compiz/emerald and make my panel the way I want it?
