http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi All, Is there a way to change the PATH from internal memory (SDCARD) to the external memory (MicroSD)? So when you store something in the local place Internal Memory it will store on the MicroSD. When you do something wrong and must reset/clear/factory etc etc you never loose your data because it is stored on your MicroSD (You must remove this before you do a reset/clear/factory etc etc action otherwise maybe JB think it must wipe also the internal memory and you loose as well all data) (HowTos)

Is it possible to rename the internal memory from sdcard? I want the sd card to be named sdcard so that apps where it is just default to save on sdcard (and you can't change it) to go on the actual sd card and not internal memory. Thanks.

I have a micro SD card from the previous phone. In this phone we have the internal and external memory.

Whatsapp stores the new messages to \Whatsapp internal memory.

I was wondering: - how can we save the new messages to \external_memory\whatsapp instead of using internal memory.

I'm selling my Amaze, keeping external memory. Where is the location for custom recovery - is it on internal or external card? I want to wipe the internal memory, keeping temp external card, reboot into recover and install custom rom from external memory, then reboot and remove internal memory. Will the above procedure work ?

My PE was synchonizing some files from the internal memory /sdcard wirelessly to dropbox when suddently it run out of battery and it turned itself off.

When I turn it back on I received the messages: * Preparing /sdcard * /sdcard damaged

I've tried resetting the device but still same problem.

The PE settings display: * Data storage device => Internal Storage * Internal

Hello guyz,

I have a "rooted" micromax A44, an mtk based phone loaded with gb. Yes, It hs very low internal memory (a mere 170mb dedicated for user apps nd its data). There are no roms nor a recovery available. So im at my wits end. I tried these to overcome the problem.

1. changed internal apps (system) into user ones using Titanium Backup and moved them to sd card.

Hi all

Slighly confused by the internal memory on the S2.

I thought it had around 16GB of internal memory but when I checked...setting/storage/ it shows internal memory as Total Space =1.97Gb Apps 238MB Available as 1.70GB

So this adds up to only around 3.9GB ????

Any ideas where the rest is.....
