Is there a way to make pptpd listen for PPTP trafic on a TCP port other than the default 1723 port?
I khow that PPTP uses more then just tcp/1723. It also uses GRE. it's not a problem. just how to change default PPTP TCP port.
And how to configure pptp client on linux to use port other than the default 1723 port
I use pptpd on debian.
We’re one more time talking about security, this time it will about how to secure sshd a little bit more, and we will do it by changing the default port where sshd listens.
This way the attacker needs to guess your user (I’m sure you have disabled root access right?), your password, and now … yes, the port number where ssh daemon is listening.

My Mic-in port is somehow damaged. I'm not using my Line-in port. SO I want to use my Line-in port as my MIC-in port (Microphone). So that I can continue using skype and other VOIP Apps. If there is any way to reconfigure my port setting Please let me know.
