Hi all,I installed a mail server with:- Postfix- Dovecot- CyrusI use this tutorial :
I have set up a VPS with ubuntu where I am currently hosting a website.
I have installed postfix and dovecot to handle e-mails.
(Following this guide: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-set-up-a-postfix-...)
I have followed this tutorial two times but I can't connect to my server via Thunderbird.
This is my dovecot.conf: http://pastebin.com/d2kP0JzB
I have installed Postfix 2.10.2/Dovecot 2.2.5 on RHEL 5.9 from a source code, I forced Installation to be in my own directories not Defaults,
I need to add Postfix/Dovecot under services or init.d to deal with it as a service and make sure that it'll be initiated in boot automatically ?
I can't find Postfix/Dovecot in service list.
Alternatively : I create crontab job to initiate Postfix/Doveco
quick story up front, so that you understand my current state better.

By the end of part 1, we had purchased a domain name, set up a basic server, and done a bare-bones installation of Postfix and Dovecot.
I am trying to configure for the first a server to be used for multiple domains to get used to hosting situations I may encounter in my job.
I have Postfix, Dovecot, MySQL, and Postfix admin configured. However, Postfix is not handing off mail delivery to the virtual mailbox.
