I've setup a handful of CentOS 5.6 servers with Oracle 11gR2 and not run into this particular problem, but I have hit a wall with CentOS 6.3 and auto-starting Oracle. Not sure if this is related to the newer release of CentOS or me having a PEBKAC moment, but I need a hand.
I've got a working install of Oracle 11gR2 on CentOS 6.3. It runs and is functional.

Oracle will port its Enterprise Linux distribution to Sun's Sparc processor, a move that could help it compete better against IBM and Hewlett-Packard in the high-end server business. we have centos server 5.5 ,and we install Oracle software stack including :
Oracle 10g DB server
Oracle Application Server
Then we deploy oracle forms on it , we compile the forms for Linux because the previous binary build for windows , every thing works , expect the chars of the forms appear '????' as question marks , because its contain non english chars .
