I'm connected to the KVM switch and my Ubuntu server when booted shows initial bios screen and when ubuntu booting starts I see blank screen. However if I directly connect my monitor everything works. My other servers behind KVM are running debian and I see the text from them very well. How do I configure Ubuntu to show me the shell text? I am not running any GUI/Window Manager.
I need a help with the pure-ftpd upload script. I installed pure-ftpd server on the redhat server using these instructions: https://systemlog.info/setup-pure-ftpd-on-centos-6-4/
, and configure it to run an upload script. The same script works on the old server that I'm moving away from (I didn't setup that one).
As the title suggests, I am running CentOS 6.5 on a remote server, so I only use SSH.
Since I run a gaming community that enjoys a wide variety of games, not all of them are supported by Linux, or WINE just doesn't work too well... This has led me towards running Windows in a VirtualBox install.
