I cloned and enlarged an existing virtual CentOS-6 disk by the following steps:
Create 15GB virtual disk and mount the old and the new disks in GParted.
In GParted copy boot, swap and ext3 partitions from the old disk to the new one.
Mark the new boot partition with boot flag.
Resize the new ext3 to bigger size.
I disconnected the old disk and connected the new one.
I've spent all day trying to get VirtualBox 4.2 running on CentOS 6.4 (2.6.32-358.6.2.el6.x86_64) and I am stuck. When I initially tried installing VirtualBox, I got errors that it could not find the kernel source.
I am having a very strange problem installing CentOS 6 that I've never encountered before. I've followed these same steps thousands of times before, but within the past couple weeks I've had two separate servers that would boot to a grub prompt after a fresh CentOS 6 install.
I installed the version 12.04 LTS on a Netbook Asus EEE PC 1101HA. I had a video problem at the boot time but it was solved by following these steps
I see that if I suspend the netbook there's no problem.
