Im trying to integrate SNMPTT or snmp trap to work with nagios. Or should i say im trying to learn Nagios about traps, to handle traps, so i can be notified immediately. I was following this page for SNMPTT but when i used the "snmptrapd -On" command i have the following error.
Hello.I am doing first nagios practice and for that I have following setup:
I have installed nagios core in centos 6 as described here:http://www.howtoforge.com/installing...-on-centos-6.3 I can login to the web interface and now first i want to monitor the hard disk space utilization on the machine where the nagios has been installed before moving to the remote hosts.
How to move forward?
I am newly user in Nagios Core 3.5. In my pc, I installed windows 7. And I installed centos 6.4 (64bits) with virtual box. After installed nagios core in centos, I can log in nagios web interface from centos. But I can't log in nagios web interface from my windows 7. I can ping the ip address of centos from windows 7.
