I saw that a lot of people have trouble with secured wifi/router! Wifi is connected,full signal,but when u go on internet,internet connection is very slow,or it says "that there's no internet connection" . I found one easy solution:
1. Go to router page (mine is: 192.168.2.1)
2. Enter Username / Password (Default: user/user or. admin/1234 ...)

I am having some trouble connecting to the internet and my lan network at the same time. I am connected wirelessly to my internet network, I am also hard wired into a home network that is not connected to the internet.
I'm newbie in networking. I created quiz application using client-server socket connection. Using 1 PC with server program written in Java and 50 Android as client, connected in wifi network. Everything work fine if my router connected to internet, but if WAN port unplugged, all connection became very slow and unstable.
I have two devices, one that I want connected to the internet and another that I don't. I have setup a dhcp server on the one connected to the internet and I have the other device connected to it. I want to be able to connect to the internet on one device and connect to the other through a different subnet.
I am creating one application in android in which internet connectivity is checked. i want to display a toast message when internet connection is very slow. or when the server is not responds to request at that time i want to put a toast like "Connection is slow !!!" .
I bought an Asus RT-N53 wifi router, and I'm having nightmarish performance issues with it. I have WPA2/AES encryption enabled, and I can connect to it from from an Ubuntu 12.04 laptop, but after a few minutes the network becomes completely unresponsive.
