http://unix.stackexchange.com – I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to compile a Broadcom driver for use on my CentOS laptop. Previously, I had used the instructions located here to compile and it worked flawlessly. Now, I cannot get the driver to compile. Admittedly the errors look like something I should be able to simply fix, however, I have not found a way to get it to work for me yet. I have ATI HD2400 card and used normal Linux-drivers on 11.2 64 bit. I tryed the Catalyst 9.11 driver before but it does not compile correctly on 11.2, so I unloaded it and went back to standard driver.

hi there, i've had to go all the way up to kernel 3.8 to get my much desired hd-audio passthrough working with my intel hd4000 in a mac mini late 2012 quad core i7.

I'm on ubuntu 12.10 with kernel 3.8.0 generic.

Unfortunately it means that the fix in this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2078320 which worked in earlier kernels, no longer works for me, one of the devs over at xbmc

I'm new to C++ and I'm having some trouble trying to compile my program. I have a Driver.cpp file which contains main(), and 2 header files each with corresponding .cpp files. They are all in the same directory. The Driver.cpp file only calls a function in one of the other header files, which does the rest of the work.

It's ok, but now I want to change red solid background to nine-path background.

I have a KWorld 355U tv tuner and when I plug it into my Ubuntu 12.04 system, I get these dmesg messages:

When I try and open the stream in VLC or MyTV the device doesn't exist.
