Hi everyone, new to the linux world...and I need some help with some sendmail issues that I've been working on for a while.
Some basic facts, I'm setting up some servers through a local network around my school for a project and they are all on CentOS 5.0 (server install).
The version of php provided by CentOS 6 is 5.3.3. You will need to ask whoever you got 5.4.10 from about any defects in it as CentOS does not supply it. If you want to try with the CentOS supplied ... [by TrevorH]
Hey all, I have a very basic question. Do I need anything besides Postfix to receive emails?
To send them out, I use SendGrid, but I can't seem to grasp the basics for receiving emails. I would guess that when someone sends it to example@domain.com, the traffic would find it's way to domain.com and the server would put it in example's email directories.
My spec file:

I patched it to remove patches that don't apply cleanly to 1.0.1c and to get it to build a ix86 package properly under a x86_64 host.
I'm building a rpm package of OpenSSL 1.0.1c for my F14 installation but I'm missing something but now knowing what.
[buurin@htcore SPECS]$ rpm -q --provides openssl.x86_64
config(openssl) = 1.0.0a-1.fc12

I am developing a Ruby on Rails app, and have a staging server. But this staging server isn't sending any emails -- instead, it is discarding them.
In order to test our emails being sent, and how those emails looks like (so we can use the staging server for QA), I found MailCatcher.
Posting this for my wife, I don't use her N7 that much so she asked me a question and I could not find a solution to it so I figured I would post it here. When see reads her Gmail emails from the N7 and then she goes to her laptop the emails are showing as unread. I checked in Gmail on the N7 and it is set up for syncing.
I've got a customer with a problem where their emails are being sent multiple times for the last couple of days. They use horde religiously and will not use anything else. I believe they click the send button with double or triple clicks or until it sends.. This apparently was never an issue before.. I have managed to make it happen doing but only sending two emails at a time..
I don't do LDAP, but forum member scottro provides this LDAP reference.I hope you are aw... [by pschaff]
