I have just installed fresh Centos 6.2 with openldap and samba with yum command. I'm having a bit of issue with finding the slapd.conf file. There is a folder for slap.d/ but no conf file in it by default. I can see folders
and ldap.conf file.
I have also checked in Fedora 15 and found same situation taht there is no slapd.conf file. So now where to start ?
The default TrueType font for xterm and its variants is set to use the font matching the name 'mono'. Check with:$ fc-match monoIt is most likely DejaVu Sans Mono. The bitmap fonts selectable from the Unicode Fonts menu are specified in '/usr/share/X11/app-defaults/UXTerm'. "Default" is given as:*VT100.font: -misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed--13-120-75-75-
Nope, 'ja' is the character set, the font is a bitmap '12x13ja.pcf.gz' that comes with xorg-fonts-misc. If you want to use this one in Termite, simply replace 'Monospace' with 'Fixed' and you should be fine.

I have this code in my .emacs file (set-default-font "Monaco 16"). When I start emacs when it is not open (by clicking on the shortcut for instance) it starts with Monaco 16 but when I create a new frame with C-x 5 2 it starts with the old default font, which is too small to read for me. Is there a way around this?
