CeBIT 2010: Recipe for Office Migration

From March 2-6 CeBIT Open Source 2010 called open source projects, enterprises, and organizations to Hannover, Germany. Here's our photo gallery from the talks in the Open Source forum, the project lounge, and the Linux New Media awards.

With its move into Hall 6, CeBIT is now allocating even more space to the Open Source Area in 2013. The Open Source Forum, together with the Open Source Park making up this themed area on CeBIT, will benefit from the move as well.

On one of my servers there are 173 [migration] processes listed in ps aux.

It has 8 processors so there are the regular 1 per processor right at the top of the list.

At this year's CeBIT Open Source Forum, Knoppix creator Klaus Knopper announced the release of version 6.3 of his popular Live Linux distribution

At CeBIT 2010 Open Source was one of the main issues, prominently placed in hall 2. This video of Linux Magazine Online shows an extract of it.

For those who weren't about to make it the CeBIT Open Source Forum 2011 in Hamburg, Germany earlier this month, video of the presentations are now available to the general public free of change.

That's not the distro itself, but releasing the results of a study into the migration costs to the German city of Munich.
