http://forums.fedoraforum.org – dear Fedora users i'm new to fedora and i have a problem using my CD/DVD burner. i tried various software without any success. "K3B" When i insert an empty disk it recognizes it, and appears on my desktop "blank Disk" 1- i tried to drag and drop some files and use the default f12 to back up files, but it wont burn, its starts but stop immediately. 2- i tried using K3B, it scans and does not detect any problem or conflicts with any hardware but after 32kb's it stop any detects an error. "can't remember the error right now not at home" my burner works fine as a normal CD/DVD rom drive but burning it can not. so my question is do i have to configure the CD/DVD burner before being able to burn? i have a LG DVD-Ram dvd+ dvd - burner "cant remember the model right now not at home" and using Fedora 12 any help is appreciated thanks (HowTos)
