Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS 32 bit. My fstab looks like this:
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier
# for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name
# devices that works even if disks are added and removed.
Hi i'm very new in the community and i'm having some problems.
I used to make a backup with rsynck in an external hard disk conected by usb.
Ubuntu stoped mounting it automatically, and i can't mount it.
Here is my fstab:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to n
I have set up an NTFS partition to automount via fstab:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed.
I am not able to read cd. Community suggested changes to Fstab file but that changes are not working.
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier
# for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name
I cant seem to find anything that will help, here is my fstab
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'vol_id --uuid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
When I boot my system, I always see "dev/mapper/cryptswap1" is not ready. So I checked out fstab:
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed.
Hi
I need help !
My computer froze yesterday (it happens) but when I reboot, nothing works.
I have only 3 partitions one for boot, one for swap and one for /home
It can't find /home.
And I can't find it neither. It seems to have disappeared...
As I can't reboot, I'm running on the live-cd !!
