Compiz config manager is not working in gnome and gnome classic and studio
First I install ubuntu studio, then gnome desktop and classic inside it. what to do?

Beginning with Oneiric (11.10) Ubuntu switched to using GNOME 3 as it's base and Unity as the default desktop environment using the Compiz window manager whereas GNOME themselves used the new GnomeShell DE with the Mutter window manager.
Is there a way to get Gnome Classic act as Gnome Classic? That is, the gnome classic session is the only thingy around. So if the cursor get to point to upper left corner it will stay in gnome classic and not be thrown to some other desktop with some kind of dock to the left with a bundle of icons and a search dialog.
And the gnome panel should be configurable as in gnome classic.
Hello ubuntuforums, I recently installed ubuntu 12.04 on my desktop, I started out with ubuntu 10.04 so gnome classic was the desktop environment of my choice, I dislike unity and gnome 3 isn't my cup of tea so to say.
After I installed a package called gnome-panel to enable gnome classic I went on to try to get my eyefinity setup to work, without success.
