Dont' know why or if it is related, after upgrading Ubuntu 10.04 kernel ( I guess from 2.6.32-38 to -42) I can's see youtube videos. I checked the flash plug-ins installed and I have: (1) flashplugin-installer, (2) flashplugin-nonfree and (3) flashplugin-nonfree-extrasound. I haven't reinstalled the browsers yet.
Hi:
I run KTorrent on a certain .torrent and, in the status column, after allocating disk space, it says 'stalled' and remains in this status for ever. However, if I boot in winXP and run bitTorrent on the same .torrent, after some minutes it begins to download. What can possibly be the cause. And what is the meaning of that word 'stalled'? Any hint will be wellcome.
Hola!
I tried every version of Flash player for Ubuntu 12.10, but it doesn't work.
When attempting to install it, I got this error.

Hey all new System76 user here. Thanks again for the cool laptop.
One of two problems I'm having are as follows:
WiFi connection stalls, I have to reset the connection to get it back up then it will stall again.

Currently I am trying to install flash, so I type in :
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
I've tried other versions that I've found online besides flashplugin-nonfree, with the same results.

After I turn on my laptop for a long time, the sound becomes broken and I have to restart my laptop. so I browsed through this forum and did this:sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree-extrasoundsudo apt-get install PulseAudioNOW my vlc has no more sound. can anyone help?
So one day, for some reason I don't remember, I tried to remove the package adobe-flashplugin. However, there were some nasty errors which caused dpkg hell. I gave up for the time being. Then, a few days ago, I needed to do the same thing again because I wanted to use flashplugin-nonfree instead, and I don't see the point of having more than one installed at the same ti
I have a very strange problem with flash on my 10.04 system. (An update to 12.04 is not an option, because the system is just too old and slow.)
After a recent update flash has just stopped working altogether. Youtube just shows a white square, vimeo a black one. After a 10.04 reinstall the problem stays the same.
