I kept this extensive list of alternative applications and other programs.

Normally, i follow the sticky in this section (http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … an-stable/)to install my drivers, and it works great for my desktop. However, i got a new laptop, and after going through the same process, I cant get it to work. Like i said, i have a GT 540M, so I'm not sure what package to install.

Well seems like it is not my day today. When I start nvlc everything looks normal but when I press any key it goes a sort of ascii crazy.
