Hi i downloaded The Cave for Linux (c) Double Fine -HI2U from a trustworthy source.
Now i would like to play it but it does not work
First i did Unrar, to unpack the archive to my documents folder,
Then i tried to run the game using ./run_game.sh
As exlpained in the tutorial.
The package i download is 100 intact and not damaged.
Via cd Documents i went to install folder then i did

hey there junebug!while i'm no expert, i do mainly game with Chakra. i just downloaded the tar.gz file for Cave Story from the HIB and it worked fine for me.you're correct that Steam will use the 32-bit version. unfortunately, i don't know the deps for Cave Story. in order for me to run 32-bit games it requires a ton of lib32s. have you installed wine?
