I weren't using any lib32 catalyst package before. However, maybe it would be better to wait for a wine update ? It's the only program that can't work properly with the legacy drivers.

I don't know if testing/catalystpxp-utils may work for you as it is intended for hybrid systems...Of course you still can try the legacy or the -lts Catalyst modules:j:0 ~ > Search catalyst

**The following guide is for users on ATI graphic cards and are currently using catalyst-legacy drivers**I. Why?With the upcoming linux kernel update and X.org group update, users may encounter some package conflicts.it is caused by the catalyst-legacy driver no longer supports the mainline X.org server, not only the version, but also the inner codes.II.
Yes, you should lib32-catalyst-utils and remove lib32-libgl, then update again.The same question has been answered many times already, please use the search feature instead of posting 10 threads about the same issue.
Yes ! tanks at all, it work now, installation succed ... i have came back to the previous catalyst package, installed lib32-catalyst-utils, and ucced to install wine, winetricks, and gecko.tanks for all.
The instructions are for removing catalyst from the system and use the free drivers provided by xf86-video-ati.Since you replaced catalyst with catalyst-legacy, these don't apply to you.It is just the way pacman works. It is only possible to return messages when a pkg is either installed, upgraded or removed.
Same thing happened to me but with catalyst-dkms. I had installed catalyst 12.9 and xorg 1.13 previously and all was working fine. I just now upgraded the kernel, rebooted and couldn't get in X. I had to reinstall catalyst-dkms to get it to work (I actually removed catalyst-dkms, catalyst-utils, and lib32-catalyst-utils before reinstalling but probably wasn't neceisary)
I've read the update news, Does that mean I have to remove catalyst-legacy and install libgl and mesa, then performing the update? cause I got the following messagelooking for inter-conflicts...
:: linux-firmware and amd-ucode are in conflict. Remove amd-ucode?
[testing] now has catalyst-utils 12.12-1 available.Do any of the Chakra packagers know when lib32-catalyst-utils 12.12-1 is going to be available in [lib32-testing]? Is it perhaps already building?I just had to ask.
