Been having trouble with my HTC Incredible S recently. Texts rarely send, and I rarely receive texts, unless I turn off all data, and constantly reboot my phone and/or send texts to myself to kick starts texts into sending and receiving. I'd buy a new phone, but am waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back into stock.
I was mid conversation in texts and my phone started failing to send texts. But can still get on the internet. So i tried making a phone call and it won't connect. Had someone try calling me and it goes to voicemail. Had then send me a text and i got it, just can't reply back. Anyone hear of this before?
I can receive texts, make and receive calls and send and receive MMS texts.
I have contacted T-Mobile support but am having problems getting it fixed through them because I have AOKP on my phone and they don't understand it.
I am using Google Voice to send texts but I don't really like it and want to use the Android messaging app.
When I check the SMSC number it shows "+12063130004",1
Some of my friends say they aren't receiving my texts and those
that make this claim all have one thing in common... they don't have
smartphones. Some only receive garbled text, nonsensical partial sentences
or letters that don't spell anything, I have noticed the ones who get these garbled texts
all have cheap little flip-phones, or trac phones.
Today, it seemed my Galaxy S3 wasn't receiving any calls/texts for quite some time. I only realized this when I tried to send the same text a few times and it just wouldn't send. My first thought was to restart the device and after doing so, I saw a voicemail and a few texts I had missed. What would be causing this? Not very convenient when you're expecting something important to come through!
Recently my phone has not been receiving texts or calls until I text myself and then all the texts come in at once, and then eventually it stops working again and I have to repeat this same process again. Does anyone know why this is happening?
I have an HTC Inspire 4G and its started not making calls or send or receiving texts even with full serivce..... Any help would be appreciated,.
My phone won't allow any outgoing or incoming calls calls. I have full coverage and when I dial it straight away goes "Call Ended" Then when someone tries to call me they get a call rejected.
It can send and receive texts fine.
I recently rooted the phone to unlock it, then unrooted. The problems began then.
I tend to send longer texts, so having a return key (to go to the next line) to separate parts of my texts is really nice. However, I can't seem to find one on this phone...why? It appears with any other text input (in notepad, for example) but when I'm writing a text message, where it ought to be is replaced by the smilies menu.
