I have developed an app for visually impaired. I created easy gestures like touch, double taps for my app and using tts for readings texts. I have a strange problem:
When I enable accessibility function like talkback. My apps gesture get disabled, I can't use any of my in-app gestures.
How do I fix this?
Thanks!
I just updated to JB and it was working nicely till I tried turning on Accessibility to see how TalkBack worked on text! I didn't do the tutorial, and it doesn't seem to respond to normal button presses the same, so I rebooted, and can't get past the SIM lock. I key in the correct numbers, then OK, and nothing happens. I tried swiping right for the next screen. No good.
Hey everyone,
I have a problem with multi touch functions in my HTC One X.
I noticed that two fingers multi touch are works fine, but when I use 3 or more fingers, the multi touch doesn't work,
actually it opens the media link HD setup.
There's a way to disable this behavior?
Okay guys I found a solution:
All you need to do is to go into settings->Display, gestures & buttons-> uncheck H
I'm looking for a browser where I can swipe in from the left/right to go back/forward. That's the only gestures that I want. Like in webos with the gestures patch. Is there one in android like this? I tried the browsers with gestures like dolphin but I don't want to press a button to go to a gestures screen then make my gesture.
Hello everybody, a friend of mine who owns a galaxy s3 recently showed me a number of the useful "Motion Gestures" on her phone, see: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-us...ures-galaxy-s3
I am quite sure that this is a ROM feature developed by Samsung, therefore would it be possible to port any of these gestures onto any Galaxy Nexus ROMs?
I'm using Vaio which uses Synaptics touch pad. Multi touch gestures worked with no trouble on my previous installed operating system, windows 7. Now it seems like I can't use multi touch gestures on Ubuntu 12.10 at all. How exactly do I install the right drivers to make multi touch possible on my laptop. Thank you in advanced.
Best regards
Want to leverage Windows 8 touch gestures but don't want to invest in a touchscreen or tablet? Logitech offers a way to do this with two new wireless mice and a wireless touchpad, all supporting an array of Windows 8 gestures that allow the user to explore and operate Microsoft's latest operating system.
I switched from Unity to Gnome, and I really miss the gestures on Unity (3 fingers window moving, expand to maximize, etc).
I have two finger scrolling and two finger tap to right click out of the box on Gnome, but is there any way to configure these additional gestures? Thanks!

Is it somehow possible to listen to touch gestures on an ActionbarSherlock?
I would like to recognize swipe gestures on the Actionbar in order to "pull down" a pulldown menu from the top of the display.
