Hi,
We have recently built some RAC (OS:RHEL55) servers and after the Oracle guys have installed their application, somehow the directory / is using the maximum space.
Hi, everybody!
I have a big problem.
This is the situation.I installed the RHEL 5.5 on client's system and created LVM mount point at /u001/app/oracle and has the size of 450GB, and now he has installed DB on /u001/app/oracle. And now he is asking me to change the mount point of Existing LVM to /u001/.
And preserve the directories /app/oracle in /u001/.
Hi,
I am having a Low Disk error, saying my file system is low. I ran a Disk Usage Analazyer on the file system and it has pleaty of space in the primary directories. What is showing up in red is 2 of my three drive I have automatically mounting on boot. The mounted drives are 1 and 2 TB and are formatted to ntfs.
In order to do my homework from school, since two days ago, I installed Oracle 11g on my computer running Ubuntu.
While I was installing Oracle 11g, after setting the password for oracle and clicking "next", the installer said that there was not enough space for the home/oracle folder,
so to make another space, I mounted another space after checking GParted
and using Software device management,
I'm trying to enable Oracle-Managed Files on Oracle Express for Windows XP.
From everything I've read, I need to set db_create_file_dest to an existing directory in the file system.
I've tried setting db_create_file_dest=C:\somedir in init.ora.
Hi
We are using RHEL 4 with following mount points.
Quote:
[root@localhost ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdd3 4.9G 183M 4.4G 4% /
/dev/hdd1 289M 14M 261M 5% /boot
none 502M 0 502M 0% /dev/shm
Hi,
I have inherited a server that is experiencing a FS utilization issue.
The /home (below) is being utilized by the other mounted FS even though they belong to 2 different vg's.
Code:
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-home_vol
3.9G 3.7G 0 100% /home
/dev/mapper/vg01-lvol0
394G 306G 68G 82% /home/oracle/pcm/dbbkup
With the exception of the /home/oracle directory all other sub-directories
I have a RHEL 4 server that recently ran out of disk space and now our Logwatch for the server reports the following disk usage (I think this is the last accurate night before the /var partition filled up):
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
62G 3.8G 55G 7% /
/dev/mapper/VolGroup01-LogVol00
