If this is a dumb question I apologize. I've had the original HTC Incredible for the last two years and just got a Samsung Stratosphere yesterday.
Does this phone require you to have the data connection on constantly in order to be able to send/receive pics by text? I am not able to send/receive pictures by text unless I have the data connection on.
Starting at exactly 3pm (EST) on Sunday two weeks in a row my phone could not receive SMS text messages. It could send SMS, send and receive calls, and send and receive MMS (mutli-media messages). I was using the stock messaging client. This is on an Samsung Rugby Smart running Android 2.3.6, with AT&T as the carrier. How do I get text messaging to work again?
Is there a way to send and receive text messages using my N7 WiFi without having to pay for each text?
I have an old feature phone with no text plan. I'm not really in need of a smartphone, nor do I send a lot of texts so I don't really need to add unlimited texting to my cell plan, but it irks me to have to pay for each one I send or receive.
My Nexus 5 has been able to send and receive text messages perfectly fine for 6 months now but as of a day or two ago it has just hasn't been able to send or receive messages from any text messaging app.
I am with Amaysim (in Australia), my phone is running Android 4.4.4 and I have tried sending messages from Hangouts, EvolveSMS and TextSecure and none have worked.
Just switched to an AT&T Go-Phone $25 monthly plan (250Min. Talk / Unlimited Text, Pictures & Video / No Data) on my factory unlocked cell phone. The AT&T store setup the SIM card and handed it to me without touchng my phone or knowing what phone it was going in. Strange, but they didn't seem to care what GSM phone I was going to put it in.
Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 on AT&T, my phone is rooted and currently running CM10.2 with Quantum ROM v2.12, and I can't send GIF's to my friends via MMS.
I'm not sure if my issue is even ROM-based.
But I digress, I need to be able to send GIF's via MMS to my friends.
