Send It is an application that allows you to send ANYthing to ANY smartphone (iPhone, WP7 etc..)
Hate creating multiple accounts or installing apps you won't use to send one file to one person?
Don't have an email address for most of your contacts?
Hey guys.
I'm trying to send a huge file from my Ubuntu 12.04 netbook to a Windows Vista laptop via bluetooth.
The file in question is a 4.5gb .iso and I don't have a pendrive or any other external gadget big enough to fit it in. Neither do I have a CD drive on my netbook.
Ok im so frustrated with this s4 and I have not even had it a week!! I'm trying to send a music file to a galaxy note 2. I have checked settings time and time again. If I send it bluetooth it scans for devices and ALWAYS comes up with no devices. .. even though I'm paired with a device. If I Try and send it via sbeam it makes the chime noise but that's it.
I have a problem to send a textfile via bluetooth to another device. The devices are already paired. Can you give me a full example of a filetransfer.
I am trying to send a file from one device to another over bluetooth.
I have used ussp-push, obex-ftp and bluetooth-sendto.
From which service should I expect highest transfer speed? and does anyone know which service is used by bluetooth-sendto?
Is there a way to use the notebook as speaker for my smartphone? I linked them via Bluetooth and saw that the smartphone can be used as an input-Device for music and sound.
You can see it here:
My smartphone says that the laptop is linked as an Audio-System. If i play some music on the smartphone, it is recognized by the audio manager.
My laptop successfully paired with my MT over bluetooth, and I was able to send a file from my phone to my laptop. However, when I go to my laptop and try to scan for services (right clicking phone in device manager -> properties -> services), nothing shows up. Does anyone know why this is?
I also tried connecting it with my brand new laptop, which supports bluetooth as well.
What is best CLI tool that I could use to transfer a file over bluetooth?
I would like to transfer a file over bluetooth from CLI without having physical access to computer.
To transfer a file I have tried ussp-push, obexftp and bluetooth-sendto (from gnome-bluetooth).
What is the best way way to send files vía Bluetooth from the phone to the computer / Notebook (and vice versa)?
It appears to be a bit inconvenient, to receive files from the phone you first have to open this Bluetooth dialog (instead of to just receive a file or more), sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
Is there an icon / a shortcut for the phone / Windows to simplify it?
