Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie in the linux world and have just installed Xubuntu 11.10 on an old laptop (Pentium II - 1,20GHz - 512 MB RAM).
I thought initially that youtube, and hence flash, didn't work at all in firefox: back hole where the flash player should be.
I have a very strange problem with flash on my 10.04 system. (An update to 12.04 is not an option, because the system is just too old and slow.)
After a recent update flash has just stopped working altogether. Youtube just shows a white square, vimeo a black one. After a 10.04 reinstall the problem stays the same.
How to install Google Chrome browser with Flash plugin support on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) GNU/Linux1. Import the GPG key for the chromium-daily PPA repository:sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 0xfbef0d696de1c72ba5a835fe5a9bf3bb4e5e17b52. Edit your sources.list file to add the chromium-daily PPA repository:
I searched , but i found only old problems. The solutions of them did not helped me at all.
I tried to find solution but I just couldn't. Does anyone of you know how to fix this problem?
When I try to watch videos on YouTube, Chromium says "couldn't load plugin".
There was flashplugin-installer already installed , but I reinstalled it, and Chromium(it did't help).
When I installed 12.04 I also added Ubuntu-restricted-extras. I decided to try accessing flash content in Firefox without the Adobe plugin, and I wanted to experiment with streaming video directly with VLC, so I removed flashplugin-installer.
I tried every version of Flash player for Ubuntu 12.10, but it doesn't work.
When attempting to install it, I got this error.

Hola!
ok so i typed this in the terminal - aos87@ubuntu:~$
Code:
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
and this is what i got - E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run '
Code:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
' to correct the problem.
when i ran
Code:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
this is what came up - aos87@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a
[sudo] password for aos87:
