During MWC this year Sony made the world aware of the Xperia P and Xperia U with the Xperia Sola being announced a few weeks after. While initially released only in Asia they are now available across the globe. Slated as low to mid-range devices they’re appearing to round out Sony‘s 2012 line.
After carefully inspecting the leaked JB fw provided by Doomlord, brickin my phone and all sorts of stuff :cyclops: i came across a fact that speed dial isnt in the fw so again i searched and found a mod originaly made for xperia T,V,TX witch enables the feature that i'm talking about made possible by gregbradley and tested on Xperia S JB by myself.
Sony announced plans to rollout an over-the-air (OTA) update over the next few days for three devices to bring them up to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The devices include the Sony Xperia Go, Xperia U and Xperia Sola.

Hi I'm new to the Sola and while it's been in the market a few months, I haven't seen much about rooting or recoveries...
Rooting
Is it true that for now, you can only root by using an auto-root kernel or flash a pre-rooted image?
Recovery
I haven't seen any recoveries in the Sola dev section. Can we download these as apps or are they just in some kernels?
i need to pull and push some system files in my phone for that i need to enter recovery mode in my xperia sola.please help to enter recovery mode.my phone is rooted.thanks in advance :good:
I have an Xperia Sola (stock rooted ICS). And I have a Hyundai Verna (2011 Model). It is sold as the name of Hyundai Accent(2011) outside India.
The Car has a built in Bluetooth in the stereo system.
My Xperia Sola pairs up with the car just fine.
Hello
I have a Sony Xperia S LT26i
I used this manual to root my Sony:
Copy the CyanogenMod 9.1 package and the GApps package into your phones internal SD card.
Extract fastboot-win32.zip into the C:\ drive (root directory) of your computer.
Copy recovery-nozomi.img into the same folder where fastboot.exe has been extracted.
Open the CyanogenMod 9.1 ZIP file and extract the boot.img file
