Can't print to KonicaMinolta Bizhub printers

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I can confirm this as well, as mentioned in this thread some days ago. It seems that the printer receives the printing data from Linux, but does not receive some kind of "EOF" and therefor it cannot start printing. I've called Konica Minolta, but they were not able to help me because I have no maintainance agreement with them, so I asked our local maintainance guys to get information about this issue.Printing somehow worked some time ago with xubuntu, but with Arch it doesnt work. Looks like the drivers have changed or somewhat. Using the Generic PCL5 driver I can print text-onl (HowTos)

Hi!

I use my printer at the first time in Ubuntu 11.04, it is a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W. There weren't any problem with the driver, when i plugged in the USB port, it recognized it, and downloaded the driver.

After pressing the PRINT button, it prints only 2 pages, after that the "error" and "ready" LED is blinking on the printer.

I have a problem printing from my Ubuntu 12.10 install.

Initially printing to a Minolta 283 bizhub hanged the printer for some reason.

I used the linux driver suppied by Konica Minolta.

It workd in 11.10.

Now I tried to install previous cups 1.5.4 instead. I removed cups 1.6 and manually built 1.5.4 from sources.

I am trying many times to install the driver of Konica Minolta bizhub 423 on ubuntu but I have not succeeded to get a printout. Although communication can be established, it does not print. There are URI setting of which i am not much familiar. Does anybody has an idea or was able to get it run?

I bought the epson xp-405 printer, and I am trying to succeed in printing via usb. I've followed these steps here but it doesn't seem to work. The thing is that when I am clicking print, even a simple txt file, the window that displays the printing dialog closes and simply nothing happens.

After this, I click, Printers (at the Dash) and then double click the printer.

I recently got a new laptop and installed Fedora 17 on it (Fedora 18 was too problematic). I am currently having an issue with printing using a network printer.

When I try printing a test page, it all works normally. However, if I try printing a document, it takes way too long to print. For instance, I started a printing job and waited.

I am developing one app in which i have to print one receipt, receipt has one logo(static) image view, how can i print this to bluetooth printer, and i am new to this printing stuff, can any body help me by suggesting the configuration for bluetooth printer, i need to buy one printer for testing app. Is there any specification for printers? or any bluetooth printer will work?

I tried to print to my Epson T11, using these Drivers: T13 simplified, T13 non simplified, T20 Simplified, and all of them resulting the same thing: the printer does not want to print.

I requested TEST PRINT, however, it tried to print and in a split second, the status become "Stopped - Printing page 1, 2%".
