Nepomuk Indexing Agents Have Been Disabled
Hi all! I'm new to opensuse, just installed opensuse 11.2, kde4.3. Everything is functioning very well:)! but I'm experiencing a strange problem (at least, strange to me...;)).
Hi everyone. Since last days, everytime I close Arch, nepomukservicestub crashes. It also crashes when I manually disable it from system configuration.I also tried to delete its configuration in home/kde.4, but, after next login and database rebuilt, it keeps crashing when I manually disable the service. What should I try to get this trash to work?
Hi,
I am more familiar with windows so far. There I regularly use Ghost to backup my OS partition.
Is there anything similar on the Linux side?
I have used "dd", but this does not offer to search the file and restore dedicated files I probably have lost.
I can use "tar", but it is not on a partition-level.
Hello.
I've got a problem with the autostart on 3.4.9-2.fc16.x86_64, KDE Version 4.8.5.
Usually Pidgin, Skype and other stuff automatically starts if I log in and some features like
the printer applet are deactivated.
Hi,
yesterday I tried KDE 4.4 from the KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop-repository. The new KDESC is really impressive. But I have a few little issues:
kdepim-runtime was not installed by zypper dup. Without this package, Kontact ans Akonadi weren't able to start. I think this is a dependency-problem.
I have a quick question about the "BackUp" application that comes with Ubuntu 12.04.
I managed to set up my computer the way I like it. Now, I'd like to create a backup of my file system partition. I've research a few backup options (such as fsarchiver, partimage), but if I'm not mistaken, in order to be able to use fsarchiver I have to run it from a live cd.
I have successfully installed OS 11.3 and it worked first time almost perfectly. Great work, and thanks to all concerned!!!
The system is ubuntu server 12.04.
I am using rSnapshot to back up the system.
I now want to restore everything in the home folder.
I am restoring from an external HDD:
/media/backup/backup_disk_2/server3/hourly.0/localhost/home
What's the restore command?
