Hello!I had bad experiences getting any Debian derivatives installed on my laptop in the past, but my lab just got us all some new Dell XPS 8700 and the first thing to do was replace Windows 8 with #!. The computers we got each came with two monitors (U2312HM 23") and in addition to the integrated Intel graphics card there is also an Nvidia graphics card (GeForce 560 Ti).
Hi,does anybody have a working 10 bit / channel video output setup with GeForce cards and 10 bit LCDs ?Nvidia GeForce drivers for linux (only) should support it for some time now , supposedly X supports it as well and only some (well, many) apps may have problems.
K i'm over here cuz you guys always been great help. I'm using linux mint 15 cinnamon.. pretty much 13.04 ubuntu if i'm not mistaken. I have a desktop with quad 23" LCD's running a geforce 460 GTX an a geforce 7600 GS. Now I have 2 23" acer lcds hooked up too the 460 GTX (primary pcie) and 2 23" samsung lcd's hooked up to 7600 GS for top 2 monitors.
Recent install Lubuntu 13.10, I want have extended Desktop, two monitors with nvidia or nouveau drivers. I have two nvidia cards one output by each. Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nforce430, and nvidia Geforce G210.
