I want to install linux fedora core 8 on already vista installed machine.I do not want to keep vista.
So what i did i format vista using vista bootable installer cd as the linux cd was not
stepping to the right place for format and parttioning screen. After doing this way of formatting i did reached to that step but now when
I got an acer aspire 4310 with vista pre installed.
I installed fedora 10 on the D:/ drive by setting the D:// drive as free space within vista and then installed fedora 10. So now I have dual boot vista and fedora using grub.
How can I delete vista and install Fedora 12 on that C:// partition and be able to keep and boot my fedora 10.
Fedora running as VirtualBox guest system. After install vbox guest additions, system load but no welcome screen show, just black screen. Logs are clear, and there is no errors. Framebuffer consle also black screen. I can log on only simple console 320x240 res. (F2)
I have a dual partition on my computer:Windows Vista (which runs fine, I've already installed the wireless software and it works well) and Ubuntu 14.04. The Ubuntu log in screen loads normally, but after I log in the screen goes black after about three seconds. I suspect my video card needs updated.
