I have an AT&T SGS4 running 4.4.2. and it is rooted (verified w/root checker basic). I'm using 360 Clean Droid Advanced Cleanup > Bloatware Uninstaller to remove much of the stock bloatware such as Chat On, AT&T Mobile Locate, Family Map...etc.
So I'm having some trouble. I got my gs4 a few weeks ago. I currently have the ME7 version. When I fist got it I rooted it and deleted all the bloatware. Big mistake. I know, I'm a total noob. Now I can't upgrade. Is there anyway I can restore all the bloatware so I can upgrade my phone? In the future I know just to freeze the bloatware and not remove it completely.
Hi, longtime apple user. 1st time android user. So I got an HTC One from sprint. And I LOVE it! Only thing I hate is the bloatware. So what do I do? I rooted and installed titanium back and removed it all! Was super stoked, until I had to reboot today. And alllllllll that crap got pushed back to me.
So I have a rooted Activa now, thanks guys :) And I also own Root explorer. This is my second Huawei device, coming from the Ascend previously so Root explorer was a must to remove bloatware on that device.
Only problem I'm having is that I can't find the /cust folder on this thing. Where do I go to get rid of all the metro bloatware? Can anyone help?
Using a prior verizon galaxy s 4 on Straighttalk service. Was trying to download the root program from towelroot but it seems to be down and was using galaxys4root for info but am confused a little. I just want to be able to delete programs for ever and not have to change operating systems as I don't know enough about that. It seems I have to load a new operating system after rooting ???
I have 15.1.C.2.8 fw, and when I try to remove bloatware, my phone reboots. I used towelroot, and root browser. This method worked well on 4.3, but not on 4.1. I prefer 4.1 because it's faster, and takes better pics. Is there an other way to delete bloatware?
I'm looking for a flashable zip full of all the metroPCS Bloatware like 411 myMetro MetroApp Store and etc so on, so I can try to get my Note 2 as close to metroPCS stock as possuble, I actually like some of the bloatware.
Or a directory index full of the @metro metroPCS Bloatware App's, so I'd know what's what and be able to download them and install as a system app in hopes of them working.
