When using Firefox I often drag URLS's either to the address bar or search boxes. When I drag URL's the Unity launcher will appear and show which programs the URL can be dragged to. However this causes my system to briefly lag while the launcher sorts itself out.
Hi Guys,
On the home screen of my admire i long press and it gives me the option of:
Shortcuts
Widgets
Folders <----- is there an App like this for my LG motion?
Wallpaper
The Folder is so simple and allows Drag & Drop.
Every app I look at in the PlayStore is way to bulky or doesnt suport Drag & Drop
Just asking if someone out there has seen the same quirk:
If I want to drag a file to a dropzone in a website (say gmail's compose interface) Unity brings up the window picker bar (Launcher) and I can't drop the file in the webpage.
It's like nothing happens.
I haven't seen if it happens in Firefox too, just tried it with Chrome.
In my app I have a screen with grid view, where I displayed photos, in 2 columns.
I want to add possibility to reorder photos by drag end drop.
I have android 4.0, and I used android native drag and drop:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/drag-drop.html
So, I already add drag&drop functionality, but the problem is, that I need to scroll grid view when user trying to drag top image
How does not set up the file manager in xfce so that a drag an drop operation moves the file/directory as opposed to copy it. Right clicking works but I would like this to be the default (i.e left clicking will do that).
Ever since my upgrade to 12.04, I've been having problems with dragging and dropping in unity.
When I start dragging something, the unity launcher will fade (or show if it is hidden) and if I try to drop whatever I'm dragging while it is doing that, the file won't drop. If i drop really fast before the launcher fades, it works fine.
It was a shock to realise that drag and drop file manipulation isn't possible in Ubuntu 10.10 on an Acer Netbook ZG5.
Installing Ubuntu 12.04 on an Acer Netbook D270, soon realized that not only is file drag and drop still not possible, but screen brightness can no longer be adjusted from keyboard controls.
I'm using lubuntu for a while now, but found a couple of details that I wanted to view with unity (that's another story).
Ok, the thing is: I'm tryed on a VM with lubuntu to install unity (sudo apt-get install unity) When the instalation is over.
Hey guys,
I'm sure this has been posted before, but several searches and hours later, I'd like to be pointed to the solution or told.
So, I have an HTC Evo 4G LTE from Sprint, upgraded to the latest update.
