I was trying to create a homegroup, by mistake I created a Host Homegroup on both computers,
I have left the Homegroup on the computer I wish to be the Client, but cannot find a way
of joining the Homegroup, any help would be appreciated.
I use the usb port to connect a service providers (tigo) usb network stick but when i search for it on my computer it doesn't show the name that i saved but shows "zyxel" and when i connect to it says it unsecured and asks if i want to connect anyway, when i do connect anyway and shows on my computer that it has connected i cannot open a wwb page or even log into its ip address ..
I have a (Windows 7) homegroup at work, lets say the homegroup name is "GROUP" and as I use Fedora 17 on my laptop? I want to join that homegroup and use whatever is shared on that homegroup printers, scanners, folders and etc. Is that possible? How do I go about doing that?
I just built a computer for a friend and installed windows 7 home prem. on it. It has a ssd for the boot and 2x 3TB storage drives. I added the computer to my homegroup and I can access files that are stored on my other computers.
I am using an old Linksys Cable/DSL router (no WiFi) to connect three Windows 7 PC’s (without an internet connection.) These three PC’s are separate from my internet connected PC’s and used as a “render farm” for graphics programs.
My problem is that I have to re-configure the homegroup in Win7 on each computer every time I start the machines.
I have ubuntu 14.04 installed and can connect to my galaxy S4 AP but for some reason it won't connect to my windows RT tablet's AP. It shows up in connections and I can click to connect to it but it automatically disconnects while trying to connect. Any ideas?
