Cant change default video app

http://androidforums.com – Hi. I have an android tablet (zt z102) running 4.0.3. I cant change the default video player from "video player" to something else. It is not listed in the applications list in settings, and yes i have selected the "all" tab. I use File Browser to open my files as i am playing videos of a usb, And there is no option to change default program within it. I can not change the default player from within another player because they all require an sd card to be present. Is there any app that will let me see the video player settings and clear it from the default programs, Or uni (General)

Hello, I have VLC player installed on my Ubuntu 11.10. Default Music and Video application was Media Player. My goal was to change default for VLC Player. From System Settings -> System Info -> Default Application I change default to VLC Player for Music and Video. I rebooted the system but when I start any e.g. video file it still opens it with the former default app i.e.

Can't seem to set VLC as the default video player. I have gone to System Settings -> System Info -> Default Applications, and changed "Video" to VLC media player.

However, all movies still open with Movie Player (Totem) by default. The video default application setting appears to have no effect.

I have a problem to play video in res 720p on my xperia x10 now im using DiXperia8 - Stock version, before install DX8 when i wos have android 2.3.3 videos play good (no lag) in oryginal video player and in "MX Video Player", after install DX8 standard app named "QuicPic" say that he cant open that video file.

I was able to easily stream audio and pictures to the TV but when I tried video, the phone pops up with an error message stating "Change Player - Player is not available. Check the network status connected device." The TV is fully wireless and web enabled.
