I thought I would share my findings on how to change the alarm tone in Sourcery. I don't know if it is common to other roms since I haven't tested it, but I hope this may help.
Background: I moved to version 455 and 456 and lost the ability to change the alarm tone. I did a lot of research to figure out what was going on and why the tone selection option wasn't visible.

you only have to create a list of your Favorites and give it the time and form to make the change.
Does anyone know how to change the alarm sound in the stock alarm clock? I tried looking in Settings/ Device/ Sound, and in the clock settings. I also tried changing the default sound using Zedge, neither methods were successful, and waking up to a beep or buzzer sound in the morning makes me slightly homicidal.

OK, if this adds any context, I am switching from a Sprint S3, which is actually very similar (hardware and software-wise) to an AT&T S4. One weird thing I've noticed on my new phone, is, when I'm creating a new alarm (and I usually do that by hitting the voice icon on the Google Search Bar and saying, for example "set alarm for 5 minutes from now"), the default alarm is silent!
I called Google support and they don't know but that's not a surprise, they don't know much. I did a forum search nothing. So I am throwing it out, Does anyone know IF you can add music tracks that are on the tablet as alarm tones because the alarm tones available are really, really bad. Wouldn't wake you even if you had 15 cups of Joe or the equivalent. Thanks for any help.
Alarm Clock is a simple alarm clock for gnome desktop, it is a good choice if you need an alarm clock,counter,and birthday reminder. At present, the latest version of Alarm Clock is 1.4.3

Alarm Clock is available from the official Ubuntu repository, but it might be old.
Alarm not received during sleep.
I have an alarm set to midnight to update my view once the alarm goes off. The alarm works when the device is awake - have have tested this by changing the time to midnight etc. However when testing on my phone it does not work during sleep. I had my phone on sleep a few hours before midnight and then checked the app at around 8am.
Hi folks,
I'm having a few problems. The Gnome alarm app isn't working in the slightest. The alarm counts down instead of carrying along with system time (and I checked both timer and alarm) as well as the issue that sound does not play either and I can't seem to find any reason why or that anyone else has had similar problems.
I'm in need of something that is reasonably complex.
