I have installed Transmission service on Centos. It is running. The problem is when I type myservername/transmission in my browser address it cant open it. It was working before.
I once opened Transmission in some computer in the computer centre of my institute, and maybe forgot to exit Transmission and locked the screen. Then on some later day I log in from another computer in the computer centre, and whenever I try to open Transmission from some computer I get a message box with the following message:
Transmission is already running,but not responding.
Lubuntu 14.04 comes with Transmission. I wanted to uninstall it, so I used the Lubuntu Software Center, and uninstalled it from there. However this automatically installed Qtransmission. So I removed it, still from the Lubuntu Software Center. However this automatically installed Transmission. Removing Tranmission once more still automatically installs Qtransmission, etc. It's an infinite loop.
HiI have the web files in /usr/share/transmission/ what is the output of this?$ whereis transmissionbecause i get $ whereis transmission
transmission : /usr/share/transmission and is where the web files are located$ ls /usr/share/transmission/
$ ls /usr/share/transmission/web
I'm running transmission and csf on a VPS, I can access the transmission web-ui thru port 9091. Problem is it doesn't download anything when i enable csf, I allowed port 51413, 49152:65535 on TCP_IN and TCP_OUT already, even UDP_IN and UDP_OUT these ports were on the transmission's config files, I'm not sure what else i am missing here.
