Hi,
I've been having problem with autofs.service on fedora 17. I was trying to write a script that is used for setting up development environment for plain fedora 17 installation so that it talks to a ldap server in our network to setup accounts, mounts and other stuff.
In the script, where it tries to do systemctl restart autofs.service, it always gives me an a job failure(timeout).

Hi. I recently switched from Ubuntu to Fedora 18 because it's much closer to Red Hat, which I use at work. I'm running on a Toshiba Satellite Pro L500. I prefer to use network.service rather than NetworkManager.service.
I managed to connect to my network at work by twiddling the ifcfg files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts, but I cannot get it to connect to the WiFi at home.
I connect remotely using ssh (putty). 90% of the time I tried to run a network related command, the server restarts. It becomes unavailable for few minutes and then back again. I noticed the first problem when I tried to svn checkout. I tried to restart the network service, but putty keeps giving me "Network error: Software caused connection abort".
Hi everyone,
I upgraded my laptop from F17 to F18, a fresh install using the x86_64 DVD iso on a USB stick. This laptop has seen lots of Fedora releases already without real problems. But this time, I can't get a (wired of wireless) network connection.
