I upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04 LTS. Upgrade went fine, even restarted couple of times. Then the next day while booting into Ubuntu, after the grub, it gave the error 'Kernel panic : not syncing vfs unable to mount root fs on unknown block (0,0).
In a case of root=/dev/ram0 real_root=/dev/sda2
No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext3 ext2...

Hi i recently installed ubuntu 8.04 on my desktop and in the upgrades menu i gave upgrade to ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS but after installing it started giving me this error
