Everything was working great till I updated about 8 days ago!
Hi, new to ubuntu and having difficultly connecting to my wireless router.
It can see the router but will not connect keeps asking for password.
usb adapter is working 100% as i can connect with it using xp 64bit
here is my ubuntu enviorment

Gusar is rigth. The compat-wireless have drivers for Ethernet, bluethoot and others thingsSorry for not give information, that's because I was change several things, such as rc.conf (modules), netcfg, networkmanager and so on.lspci -k (see the last pci)

I am running Fedora 17 x86_64 and my HDMI monitor is not detected. I would like to have dual monitor's configured. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello guys.
I'm having problems with RAM suspend and restoring wireless networking after waking up since I brought my notebook. It's Asus X50Z.
My Toshiba notebook, a T135D, runs Statler fine but locks up with Waldorf on boot. I can boot the recovery mode and run startx, but the normal boot hangs up just after starting SLiM. I just recently installed ubuntu on my laptop because i got sick of windows vista. I'am not new to ubuntu but not very knowledgeable especially when it comes to command lines and stuff like that. My computer is a HP DV6 pavilion with:

So i tried the other questions they have not worked, i know for a fact that after installing ubuntu and installing the drivers the sound just starts to work a few days later, however i dont have the additional drivers package on crunch bang so i have no idea what to do!
