This Technet article speaks of Managed Service Accounts and their local equivalents called "Virtual Accounts".
I understand a "Virtual Account" is an account of the form "nt service\myservice" when used for a Windows service named myservice.
The article states that
Virtual accounts are "managed local accounts" that can use a

I have an Domain account with admin priviliges and I need to use that account to run the Hyper-v Machine Management Service. my goal is to use that domain account to create VMs using ISO files that are in a different server within the same domain.
I've been stuck on this for a while, not sure what permission I'm missing. I've got domain A and domain B, A trusts B, but B does not trust A. I'm trying to run a service in domain A with a user account from domain B and I keep getting Access is Denied. I'm using the FQDN after the username and the password is correct.
I'm a newbie in SSRS, so my experiences are limited in this topic. In the SQL Server Configuration Manager, there are several options to set the Service Account. I have the option to either use a built-in account or another account.
I have a WCF service hosted in IIS that must connect to the SQL server using Integrated Security = SSPI;
So I've created a new application pool in IIS, and in the Advanced Settings / Identity, I've given IIS the credentials of the domain account I'd like it to use.
When i try and make a call to my service, I'm getting the following error:
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
I am currently running a Windows Server 8 Beta Build 8250 hyper-v machine, lets call it Server, with a Win7 virtual machine. All the machines are on the same domain. I am trying to access shares on Server from Win7 using a domain account. The domain account has proper NTFS and Share permissions and can access all other shares on the network.
I have a newly installed TFS 2012 server set up and I am having problems with the synchronisation of Windows Groups (AD Groups).
My domain is called DOMAINA and my service account for TFSAgentJob is DOMAINA\TFS-Service. I have verified with dsquery that the service account can access the Active Directory.
I have managed to install SQL2000 on Windows 2008 (Fun!) but have a small issue I cannot figure out.
When starting the MSSQL$2000 service with a domain account, the service fails to start reporting:
Windows could not start the MSSQL$SQL2000 service on Local Computer.
Error 5: Access Denied.
Starting it with the Local Service account is fine, any idea on what the cause might be?
I'm trying to associate a DNS zone that I added in WHM to a user so that user has access to that account. I thought I did that when I created the zone, since it seems to be associated with an account. However, the domain does not show up in that account's cpanel anywhere and I'm unable to add it as an addon domain from there because it's already in use. I don't have SSH access to the server.
