Please undo what you did and install the Liquorix kernel or kernel 3.5 from experimental. Running compat wireless with the free driver is ludicrous. If you insist on doing that, add this modprobe line to /etc/rc.local
Hi everyboy!First consideration, sorry for my bad english...but google translate and the dictionary helps me to write the answer.I have one notebook Packard Bell with this wireless lan device:07:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc.
It's the old hwcrypt problem. In case you upgrade the kernel, and have no access to the web, don't blame network manager or wpasupplicant, create a file named /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf with the contents options ath9k nohwcrypt=1 and reboot
I used this package to install the driver on 3.2 Kernel and it was working perfectly.
ubuntu 12.04 kernel 3.5
I have had a tread about this matter before. Still I am not able to make the copy of the drivers.

Will I be able to use a driver copied from a kernel 3.5 on a computer running kernel 3.2?
The webcam suddently worked, maybe because the computer is a 3.5 kernel.
I used this package

to install the driver on 3.2 Kernel and it was working perfectly , unfortunately the system used to freeze randomly with 3.2 kernel so i installed 3.4 kernel , now there is no freezing , the only problem is that my wifi card is not working , i tried to re-install the package , but didn't work
