Using miui issac and wifi Bluetooth don't like each other. Any fix for this. Read something about toggle toggle toggle. Does this mean toggle wifi 3 xs. Thanks for the input
Hi
All over the net, I see that people have made NFC tags, and make them toggle beteen settings. For example turning wifi off, gps on, bluetooth on when they enter the car, when they exit the car, they just hit the tag again, and then the settings will be set as they were before (or just set to some other setting).
As far as I see, you have to use the Tasker app to make it.
I had briefly used a Galaxy S3, and one of the really annoying thing that Verizon seems to have done is to remove the wifi toggle in the notification area.
I finally saw the Verizon Note2 in the store, and guess what, there's no Wifi toggle in the notification area, just like the S3. Everything else is there, mobile data, gps, bluetooth, etc.

I just installed Tasker, and am trying to set up my first profile - turning Wifi on when I get home / turning it off when I leave the house.
I have read "Location Without Tears", and am following the instructions at Turn On WiFi at Home - Tasker Wiki to set up this profile.
The problem is, I can't get the first context to work, specifically the "Get Fix".
Want to create a widget what will toggle tasker as whole not just a profile. Disable is easy. How do I launch tasker with it enabled ?
I have an Acer Travelmate 5620 Notebook with an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG WiFi card and a Broadcom Bluetooth adaptor.
The notebook itself has a hardware button for both the WiFi and the Bluetooth, but I have no idea how to add the keyboard shortcuts to toggle these killswitches.
I have an Acer Aspire 4330 with Ubuntu installed. The keyboard has a few extra buttons, some of which are accessed by the Fn button, and looks like the one in this image: here, though in addition to those shown are 4 buttons on the side: wifi toggle, vol +, vol -, and what I guess is bluetooth toggle...
-but what my question is: is how could I enable the additional buttons in Ubuntu?
So last April was inspection sticker time for my '02 Ford Focus. I knew it was going to fail so I waited until the end of the month and got the expected reject sticker. I was OK with that because in Massachusetts when a car fails for emissions, like mine did, you have 60 days to fix it and get it inspected again without paying again. This "bought me time".
