I an running Karmic. Recently my keyboard has started behaving oddly.
It does not respond to three arrow keys and the delete key. I also have Win7 installed on another partition. The keys work fine there.
I did,

And got the following results:
I have been using Ubuntu 12.04 for about a month now,
and enjoy it immensely.
However, when playing flash based games in firefox,
I am having a problem with the arrow keys.
A key will act like it is still being held down after I have released the key.
It seems to happen when the opposite direction key is hit while holding down a key -

I'm using zsh + rxvt-unicode as a terminal simulator in Archlinux. I've successfully setup navigation in the terminal using Ctrl+Arrow keys, but i can't setup the terminal to be able to select text when pressing Shift + Arrow (or Ctrl + Shift + Arrow to select the whole word). Hi,
I am having several small issues using No Machine.
First I have installed No Machine server 3.5 on Fedora 17 x86_x64
I am usually using KDE on that workstation.
I have connected locally and from a Windows client to the No Machine server and created a KDE session.
How can I make the builtin read command support history, by pressing the up/down key to cycle through them?
I've tried catching when you press the up key, however it doesn't seem to work with read:
read -p '> ' -n 3 foo
echo
echo -n "$foo" | hexdump
Pressing the arrow keys seems to work and I can detect it using this, however if I press aaup, it will fail as it will only read the first charac

I have a laptop with the newest Ubuntu-version (12.04). I want to use the FN-Keys to adjust the brightness of my screen, but it doesnt work. Normally it should be FN+left arrow/right arrow.
Hello, when I pressed the up or down arrow key, A] and B] show up respectively instead of the cursor moving up or down. Could you please tell me how to fix this issue? Thank you.
I did a BIOS update on my Dell Studio XPS 13 laptop and now for some reason whenever I try to use the arrow keys (up, down, left, right) all they do is bring up VLC. All the other keys on the keyboard work fine, including my multimedia keys.
Does anyone have any idea how I might change this or even look at the configuration for the arrow keys?
Thanks!
