Using Yast2 I have been able to change the login screen from the default SUSE theme to the "circles" theme. I would like to change the welcome message from "Welcome to 'hostname'" to something more inviting, say: "A Warm Welcome to OpenSuse Linux".
I just completed installing OpenSuSE 11.2 64 bit last night. And for the first time, would like to customize it a bit more than I have in the past by changing the desktop. I am running KDE4.
Searching the web has shown a possibility that changing the login theme may be broken.
Any confirmed notions on this?
Im running #!Statler XFCE, was trying out different window-manager-styles (ie, xfce4-settings-manager -> window-decorations (mine is in swedish tho so I might not have gotten the eng name right, just guessing)), and when i picked one of them X crashed and threw me to gdm login. When I try to login as usual (Xsession), I get instantly kicked out again.

I have encountered a strange theme problem since I updated to 12.04 some days ago: Nautilus needs some extra treatment after every login in order to obey the theme. It concerns every user. After every login the theme in nautilus (and only in nautilus, no other program is concerned) is set to orange-grey standard theme.
I searched the forums for the words "which" "openbox" "theme" and didn't find anything useful, so I thought I'd start this. (Mods: please trash this if it already exists.)The OB Configuration Manager includes lots of themes. I've always just used the default "Statler" theme on #! Statler.
I'm having problems where my theme manager for the login screen wont display newly installed themes. All that shows up is the beefy miracle default theme.
Any thoughts? I've got nothing at this point.
I have a question regarding a Login theme.
I used WHM to CLONE our existing theme, lets call it clonetheme1
I then used the button beside the new theme to download the theme, and then created all the new logos I wanted to replace.
What I don't understand, is how do I upload those files to the correct location on my server.
note - I have root WHM user credentials.
