For some reason I can no longer download or update from Google Play. Downloads appear to start then nothing happens.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Hey all, I've come here to ask these basic questions...since this is the place where gurus come.
I'm currently in possession of an a500 running stock 3.2 however I can not update it or even use the google play store to download apps as the a500 is no long supported. Are there any work arounds to get the play store to work on a stock rom (and how could I update it to ICS)?
I had ICS on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 wifi only and I could download apps from the Play Store no problem.
However, on getting the Jellybean OS ( 4.1.1) from Samsung( I needed it for testing some MDM solution) I can no longer download anything from the Play Store, the progress bar just keeps moving but no actual download starts.
i hope you guys can help.. i still have an original droid.. i have used google voice exclusively for txt msgs.. and for calls but recently an update had messed things up.. i no longer get notified when i get a txt msg.. i went in and checked and it does show that notifications are on and its supposed to play a ringtone and vibrate.. however it doesnt do it now since the update..

So far, so good. Migrating is a piece of cake, but...
First off I want to clarify something, and that is that if you love the new update, this thread is not for you. If you also have some complaints about the update, read on. So when the update came out I admit, I was excited. But now about two days into the update I've found quite a few things wrong...
