I'm sending email from a server, let's say domain.com.
I also have Google Apps email set up for hosted email, same domain, domain.com.
If I get mail sent to me from anywhere else, I receive things just fine.
I'm not really sure if this is the correct place to post this question, but here goes.
Domain: mydomain.com
Hosted on Server 1: 100.100.100.1 --> DirectAdmin server used as shared hosting. Only email messages that go out from here are ones sent from scripts (i.e. sendmail/phpmail).
emailaddress@mydomain.com
Managed by Server 2: 100.100.100.2 --> Dedicated mail server.
I have recently taken over management of a server running centos and whm. It has several websites and domains running under reseller accounts. Email has always been on a server at our actual office. I have recently changed our email from our local email server to gapps for business (our local email server was pretty archaic).
I have a domain name hosted at godaddy which is pointed to my ip address, where I'm running the web server. I want to use my domain name email accounts. Do I need to install my own mail server or can godaddy handle all the trouble? Thanks!
I have a client that has registered their domain through a registrar, then signed up for hosting on through a different provider, but used the same domain for said provider (didn't re-register the domain, I think the declaration of domain on the host was for CNAME records specifically).
We have ubuntu 12.04 server and installed sendmail to send mails from this server.
Problem:
There is some strange issue on mail server.

My hosted email server is "Refusing to talk : 550" with my postfix server.
Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail all accepts them fine. All of sudden hosted email provider decided not accept email from my server. I dont really know why... i dont send out spam nor have large volumes.
I have my own domain name and webhosting, and I use IMAP email with that.
I think Android doesn't allow you to do that kind of email. It only allows four types of email accounts: gmail, hotmail, Yahoo!, and AOL. Is that true?
I couldn't use my own email last time I had Android, which was when I had a Verizon Motorola Droid II in 2011. I had to use gmail...ugh.
