So I'm still figuring out the HTC One, coming from an iPhone. I want to just drag and drop photos from my phone onto my computer (Mac). I've connected via USB and used both HTC Sync Manager and Android File Transfer, but I cannot find where the photos live. When I go into the Pictures folder in File Transfer, all I see are screen captures.
I connected the camera via USB and it was promptly recognized by Ubuntu and Shotwell, however when attempting to import photos, Shotwell can only find a single photo among hundreds.
Awesome Android App for free - allows you to transfer photos, music, videos and any other files directly between your PC and mobile device (xCloud)

As we get closer and closer to the inevitable announcement of Google’s newest addition to the Nexus family, we now see yet another leaked photo of the Nexus 4 (or Optimus Nexus, whatever you prefer). Belerusian website Onliner.by obtained some sweet photos of the LG E960.
Under F15, when inserting media with photos, I got to choose which application to use to import the photos. gthumb always worked for me and I want to continue to use it. F16 gives me no options except to run shotwell or eject the media.
How can I make gthumb run when I insert photo media? I can't see any way of configuring this.
Just got my note 2 and started transferring files. I never realized that the 7000 photos I had on my 16GB iphone won't fit, because the note2 doesn't "optimize" or shrink the photos like itunes did.
What's the easiest way to batch shrink the pics and also what is the best resolution for a 5.5" 720p screen?
