On my old phone I had some custom ringtones, and was able to set group ringtones: I had one ringtone for contacts in my phone, and another ringtone for callers who were not in my contacts list.
I used Big Bang ringtone maker to make 1 ringtone (toots & the maytals) and set it as my default. This overrode the contacts I had set to have unique ringtones. I reset these but the feature still doesn't work. I uninstalled Big Bang, deleted the 2 ringtone files it made (1 was "temp") and restarted, but the feature still doesn't work.
Is it just me or can anyone actually change the 'system ringtone'?? I can select it, but the list of ringtones does not pop up :( When I go to the sound settings, I have no problem seeing different ringtones - so it can't be that there are none.
Quite annoying that I have a choice between Silent, Default, Current, and Music.

I have a problem with contacts with .587
If I set a ringtone for a contact it won't work when they ring. It always plays the default ringtone.
Anyone else have this problem. I have rooted and remove all the bloatware.

Ok so I have personalized ringtones (downloaded from my own mp3s) for a couple people, as well as a default for anyone else, and I've noticed that every few days, it automatically changes back to the default ringtone. I then change it again, only to have it change on it's own in 2 days. Is there some way to fix this? Has this happened to anyone else? It's so annoying!
I have a problem with the default ringtone. The factory default ringtone is "curve ball blend". I have spent many an hour looking for that ringtone in my phone so I can delete it, but I can't find it.

Since I OTA'd to JB my default ringtone will not stick. Every day I wake up and a call comes in and I hear a single soft tone. I check the default ringtone and it's changed from what I set it to, one of the standard ringtones.
I am rooted but don't know if that has anything to do with this.
