There is a new 3G prepaid plan arriving tomorrow that Verizon will be offering. It looks to be pretty good as it will feature unlimited talk and text with the added benefit of 1GB of data thrown in. You can get this all for $80 per month and no contract.
Just got my Nexus 4 and took it up to T-Mobile to try and sign up for the $30 prepaid plan, the one with 100 voice minutes and unlimited text and data. Seems like that is just damned near impossible!
First T-Mobile sent me to Walmart. Walmart told me this was only available if you bought one of their phones.
My Verizon contract is up next month and I want to buy a Galaxy Note 2. I want to go off-contract because it works out so much cheaper that way (and I am a commitment phobe :p). I'm overwhelmed by all the different options. Can anyone help?
I am not a heavy phone user. Verizon tells me that my average monthly iPhone usage is 120 voice minutes, 97 texts, and 471 MB data.
I'm out of contract. I'm very interested in the Nexus 4. I pay $88.13 per month for 500 min plan + unlimited data, but I only talk about 70 minutes on average, and average 500 mb data.
Seems like a ripoff to buy Nexus 4 from T-mobile directly. And I visit Japan for months at a time (where my Nexus One worked great), and I don't want a 2 year contract renewal.
Not sure if this should be in general, as it is a question. xD
But a month after purchasing my galaxy s 3 and signing a 2 year contract for the unlimited plan, t-mobile decides to make the 30 dollar 5G data unlimited text 100 minute plan to UNLIMITED data. And for me to switch it would cost approx 600 dollars -.-
Has anyone else seen this?
Currently I'm using my Nexus 7 with the AT&T SIM card that it shipped with and the 3GB per month for 30$ prepaid plan. Well, I already used 440mb of that. Sure, it's the initial "neccesary apps downloading" (I don't have WiFi!).
I know it doesn't work with Sprint or Verizon, but I didn't hear anything about it not working on T-Mobile.
Hey guys I have T-Mobile and I'm on a prepaid plan. What is the difference between classic plans and value plans? Also, can you do "truly unlimited" on prepaid or is that only for customers with a contract. Thanks guys!

Hey guys, I'm giving a ton of consideration to trying out T mobiles 30 dollar unlimited data and the text with 100 talk minutes per month plan,
I'm thinking of trying this out before a use right now I'm on my parents plan. I pay 40 a month for unlimited talk and text and only about a data pool of 3GB that I personally get to use.
After recent leaks outed T-Mobile’s plans to unleash its own dedicated prepaid service, the carrier has officially revealed its low-cost GoSmart Mobile network. Ole’ Magenta announced today that it has already begun trialing the network, offering a selection of three prepaid-only plans. $30 per month will get you unlimited calling and texting.
